One must wonder in this day and age where corporations commit crimes against humanity why they are not prosecuted. Have we reached an ultimate saturation point of CORPORATISM and/or FASCISM that corporations can get away with genocide?

How do these sociopaths in power that allow such behavior remain trustworthy to one another anyhow? It wouldn’t be the first time that assassins end up assassinated to the extent necessary in the preservation of the guilty.

The Chinese have taken steps to protect their currency by decoupling its exchange rate from a formulated peg to the US dollar. This is worth taking note of. Everything is moving according to plan.

Think global, act local, encourage friends and family, encourage community. Do not rise up in a rage as you will be playing right into their hands, but learn their code words, resist their change, and do not comply.

The Anguished Essays were created with the purpose of eventually hold a series of personal Poems and general essays which would convey the enormous suffering which “the gods” have bestowed upon Humanity across the ages, perhaps as penitence for its incalculable sins and cruel deeds… Yet upon completion of “The Contemplation of Sorrow” (the first poem I wrote), in 2005, I left it shelved for a number of years.. As many of you know, a few weeks ago I have converted into my first video, bearing the same tittle: “Contemplation of Sorrow”..

Since the above-referenced video generated such a surprisingly positive reaction, I decided (partly persuaded by KEY YouTube Friends), that I should proceed with the “collection”.

As such, I have recently undertaken another venture – creating a Second Poem (Under the same series “ANGUISHED ESSAYS” and following the same style & pattern) – and promptly converted it this new Video, hoping to partly emulate my previous relative “success”, and upholding the “high expectation” of meeting with your approval, once again…

Unlike the first one of the series, which was created on account of a personal matter, the CONTEMPLATION OF deception, has two underlying themes: THE NON-EXISTENCE of the Western style “IDEALIZED LOVE” as well as (quite by accident) a serious “CRITICISM OF CORPORATE ARROGANCE”, namely, the hypocritical random policies which are often adopted by huge conglomerates, which baffle and /or confound their customers/users, based on alleged legal requirements.

- Criticism of LOVE: Due to Trovadorism during the Middle Ages (France & Portugaliza – currently Portugal & Galicia). Because of these early highly idealized romantic notions, most citizens of the Western World are held hostage of non-existent notions of Romantic Love – throughout their lives – by virtue of their being influenced by glamorized scenarios, and reaching the point of developing the “GREAT EXPECTATIONS” of one day “reaching Nirvana” by achieving such unrealistic states of “Eternal Bliss”. In my Poem, Hades, the God of the Underworld, being aware of the non-existence of the idyllic notion of “romantic interludes”, fully aware that only and PASSION actually rule the hearts of Men, decides to take advantage of the situation in order to secure a long coveted commodity: “the possession of Aphrodite”. Thus, Hades fabricates the “assassination of LOVE” with the assistance of a myriad of entities, and captures the lovely Goddess, rendering his “prisoner”, by illegally accusing her of murdering “a non-existent entity”.

LIKEWISE, while watching the final product, I realized that this video also reflected my outrage for YouTube’s unclear, unfair, and unrealistic policies about Copyrights, whereby they “appear” to be acting “justly” and solely to comply with Legal matters, whereas, in actuality, the incomprehensible system they implemented with little or no consideration, makes absolutely no sense, due to the absence of CLEAR mechanisms for disputing their ill-conceived methods along with the impossibility of actually reaching a human being in order to engage/seek clarifications/report grievances and demand rectification of their ERRORS. Hence, I could interpret their lousy policies and total lack of accountability as the ABSENCE OF JUSTICE mentioned in my work… In other words I have CONTEMPLATED the DECEPTION which YouTube victimize each and every one of us…. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT

Billions of dollars are spent each year in the United States alone on public relations, a little-understood profession that has become a modern propaganda-for-hire industry. “Publicity” was once the work of carnival hawkers and penny-ante hustlers smoking cigars and wearing cheap suits. Today’s PR professionals are recruited from the ranks of former journalists, retired politicians and eager-beaver college graduates eager to rise in the corporate world. They hobnob internationally with corporate CEOs, senators and U.S. presidents. PR wizards concoct and spin the news, organize phony “grassroots” front groups, spy on citizens, and conspire with lobbyists and politicians to thwart democracy. In today’s electronic age, they use 800-numbers and telemarketing, advanced databases, and “video news releases” — entire news stories written, filmed and produced by PR firms and transmitted electronically to thousands of TV stations around the world. Canned news from PR firms is designed to be indistinguishable from real news and is increasingly taking its place, used as “story segments” on TV news shows without any attribution or disclaimer indicating that what viewers are seeing is in fact subtle paid advertisements. On the internet as well, PR firms have created slick websites that promise to inform the public while pushing hidden agendas. Example include:

the Greening Earth Society (funded by the coal industry), which claims that global warming is actually good for the environment
the Foundation for Clean Air Progress (which opposes regulations to control air pollution)
the African American Republican Leadership Council (a conservative organization headed by white Republicans)
Working Families for Wal-Mart (secretly funded, of course, by the Wal-Mart itself)
Project Learning Tree (sponsored by the logging industry)

PR firms create front groups as part of what they call the “third party technique.” The basic idea, as described by one PR executive, is to “Put your words in someone else’s mouth.” They realize that their messages are more likely to persuade the public if they come from seemingly independent “third parties” such as a professor or a pediatrician or someone representing a nonprofit citizens’ group. The problem is, these third parties are usually anything but neutral. They have been handpicked, cultivated, and meticulously packaged to make you believe what they have to say–preferably in an “objective” format like a news show or a letter to the editor. And in some cases, they have been paid handsomely for their opinions.

Ironically, foreign terrors seem rather benign when compared to Exxon, Monsanto, Pfizer, Dow, and PBS. These corporations are killing millions of people worldwide, not just a few thousand. Should these organizations be considered terrorists?

Exxon Mobile contaminated the entire gulf coast. Monsanto polluted the gene pool of corn, soy, and other food crops making this foods allergenic to many people in their everyday processed and restaurant foods. The FDA approves extraordinarily dangerous drugs tested only by the corporation producing them. DOW injures workers and people worldwide and has produced dioxins that are still devastating our environment and our health. Fluorine compounds are commonly added to our drinking water to dispose of this toxic waste economically and so that corporations could dodge worker lawsuits from fluoride poisonings ("The Fluoride deception", Bryce). Entertainment and media corporations do nothing to reduce the alienation of our young people (gone postal) and instead encourage isolation through their shallow programming. The private and public corporations associated with PBS offers cooking shows high in animal protein, cholesterol, and fat (sponsored by food industry and Monsanto) that encourage diets leading to obesity, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

Do you agree that corporations do far more damage to us than foreign terrorists. Or should I start listening to FOX news and start worrying about those Muslim terrorists instead?

Right now, I’m more concerned about corporate greed than any terrorist organization in the world.

We have more to worry about high school students and postal workers and special services forces gone wild.

If by "Muslim terrorists" you mean patsies fooled agents provocateur, no, we need not worry about them. And no, you should not listen to Fox News (or MSNBCNNNBCABC). If you mean actual Muslim terrorists, they stay local, far away from baseball games and apple pie. Fact.

And yes, corporate greed leading to corporatism / fascism leading to feudalism is the greatest threat we face, greater than starvation, environmental issues, meteors, Godzillas, etc.
